IoT · a Data Frontier vertical

The right data, from where no network reaches.

We develop and manufacture from hardware to software. The board, the firmware, the cellular or satellite link, the cloud platform and the alert on your WhatsApp all come from the same house, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Telemetry for water-use permits in the field, predictive maintenance in the plant, and custom robotics and sensors for what does not exist yet.

Agriculture · water-use permits

Your water intake reports to the regulator, with or without signal.

Hour meter, measurement station and weather station of our own manufacture. Delivery to IGAM's MIRA and to the ANA API, Brazil's water agencies. Irrigation regions such as Paracatu, Unaí and northwest Minas Gerais.

Industry · predictive maintenance

The machine warns before it breaks. You just need to be listening.

Wireless vibration and temperature sensors, thermal cameras, ISO 10816 alerts on WhatsApp. Installed without stopping production.

Robotics and drones · data collection

The data someone walks out to collect today, a drone or a robot brings back on its own.

Flight plan, sensors and integration with the platform. Custom projects, from prototype to small series, engineered in Belo Horizonte.

Energy · solar plants

The plant generates. You know how much, per string, every day.

Inverter readings over Modbus with our 4G gateway, irradiance, performance ratio and alarms. Reports for the owner and for the utility.

From hardware to software

We do not resell someone else's box. We design, build and maintain.

When the equipment is ours, the problem has an owner. A battery draining faster, a message that never arrived, a sensor that needs a different range: whoever designed it fixes it, with no ticket opened at an outside manufacturer.

Electronics, firmware, assembly and maintenance under one roof.

01

Electronics

Schematic, board and enclosure designed in-house, for sun, dust, rain and the factory floor.

02

Firmware

The code running on the device is ours: battery savings, message queuing, over-the-air updates.

03

Connectivity

Cellular where it exists, satellite where it does not. The device picks the network; you do not need to know which.

04

Platform

Cloud, dashboard, e-mail and WhatsApp alerts, integration with the regulator or with your own system.

What we do in IoT

Two named verticals, and everything that does not have a name yet.

Agriculture and industry got their own pages because they are the most frequent requests. Everything else Data Frontier builds in IoT starts with a conversation: tell us what you need to measure, move or automate.

Robotics and automation

Robots and embedded systems built to order: mechanics, electronics, firmware and the operator interface. From prototype to small production runs.

Custom sensors

When the off-the-shelf sensor does not exist or cannot survive the environment, we design our own: board, enclosure, calibration and the network that carries the data.

Hour meters and measurement stations

Flow, level, pressure and pump hours for water-use permits. Delivered to the regulator (IGAM's MIRA and the ANA API, in Brazil) in the format it requires.

Weather stations

Rain, wind, temperature, humidity and solar radiation for irrigation management and for the records that collective water permits demand.

Machine vibration and temperature

Wireless sensors on motors, pumps and gearboxes, ISO 10816 alerts on WhatsApp and trend tracking up to the alarm. Installed without stopping production.

Gateways and connectivity

4G and LoRa gateways of our own manufacture, an NB-IoT module that talks to cell towers and to satellites, and the DG satellite network where nothing else reaches.

How we work

From the sensor to the regulator, no middlemen.

The same house that designs the board installs the sensor, picks the network and keeps the dashboard running. One point of contact, one warranty, one WhatsApp number.

Our own hardware

Hour meters, measurement and weather stations, vibration and temperature sensors, gateways. Designed and manufactured by Data Frontier in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

The network that gets there

Cellular where it exists, satellite where it does not. A standard 3GPP NB-IoT module does both; for minute-level latency outside cellular coverage, the DG satellite network.

Operator monitoring machines on the factory floor

Data where it counts

Cloud platform with history, e-mail and WhatsApp alerts, and delivery in the format the regulator or your maintenance team requires. You follow it on the dashboard.

IoTData Cloud platform

Everything the field and the plant send, on a single screen.

History stamped with the time of the event, not the time of delivery. Users and permissions per device. An audit trail of who did what. Alerts that reach the WhatsApp of the person who needs to act.

Tell us what you need to measure, move or automate.

You will hear back from an engineer, not a bot. For water intake telemetry or predictive maintenance proposals, each vertical has its own form; for everything else, use this one.

Custom project

If the sensor you need does not exist, we design it. If the machine you need does not exist, we build it.

Electronics, firmware, mechanics, network and software under a single point of responsibility. That is how the hour meter for water permits and the industrial vibration sensor were born, and that is how the next one will be.
